Malcolm Ryan Studios operates five infinity cove studios from our South West London facility, each built for a different scale of production. Studio A is one of the largest drive-in infinity cove spaces in London. Studio 1 offers a full-size cove with drive-in access and overhead shooting. Studio 4 is a self-contained compact cove ideal for portrait, beauty and product work. All five studios are available for daily hire with fast availability.
Studio A — Large-Scale Drive-In Infinity Cove
8,004 sq ft. 30-metre cove. 31ft ceiling. Drive-in at 17ft.
Studio A is our flagship infinity cove space and one of the most capable production studios in South West London. The U-shaped cove runs 30 metres wide across an 8,004 sq ft floor, with a 31ft ceiling giving productions genuine height without additional rigging.
Drive-in access at 17ft means vehicles, large props and heavy set builds load directly onto the studio floor. Two floating ceilings at 20 × 38ft and an overhead shooting platform at 31ft give DOPs and photographers full control over lighting and camera position. Power capacity is 3 × 400A supply plus 3-phase 63A sockets, supporting multiple high-output lighting rigs simultaneously.
Suited to automotive campaigns, large-scale fashion shoots, advertising productions and anything requiring serious scale and overhead access. Rate: £2,000 per day.
Studio 1 — Drive-In White Cove with Mezzanine
4,350 sq ft. U-shaped cove. 19ft ceiling. Drive-in at 14ft.
Studio 1 is the natural choice for productions that need a full-size infinity cove without the scale of Studio A. At 4,350 sq ft with a U-shaped cove, 19ft ceiling and 14ft drive-in clearance, it handles mid-size automotive shoots, fashion campaigns, commercial photography and editorial work.
A motorised truss gives lighting flexibility without additional rigging time. The mezzanine provides an elevated shooting angle for overhead product shots and wide-angle campaign photography without crane or additional equipment. Make-up rooms, wardrobe, production office and crew areas are all included.
Rate: £1,500 per day.
Studio 2 — Green Screen Drive-In Studio with Infinity Cove
2,940 sq ft. Pre-lit chroma key. U-shaped infinity cove. Drive-in at 14ft.
Studio 2 is a purpose-built green screen studio with a U-shaped infinity cove, drive-in access and a fully integrated lighting system. At 2,940 sq ft with a 19ft ceiling and overhead shooting platform, it's designed for productions that need consistent, repeatable results without spending half the day on setup.
The studio comes pre-lit with nine Bi-Colour LED Chroma Q Space Force Octo units and eight LED Dyno 650 RGBWW Soft Panel Cyc lights, all on motorised truss and controlled by a Chamsys Quick Q 10 Desk. Drive-in clearance at 14ft means vehicles and large equipment load directly onto the studio floor. Two make-up and wardrobe rooms are included within the hire.
Used for video production, advertising, virtual environments, automotive shoots and digital content creation. Rate: £2,800 per shoot day.
Studio 3 — Large White Infinity Cove Studio
3,600 sq ft. 60ft L-shaped infinity cove. 24ft ceiling. Overhead shooting at 16ft.
Studio 3 is a large white studio with a 60ft L-shaped infinity cove, 24ft ceiling and integrated lighting grid. At 3,600 sq ft it offers generous floor area for photography, commercial filming and content production, with enough scale to accommodate larger sets and crew without the space feeling constrained.
An overhead shooting position from the mezzanine at 16ft gives photographers and directors an elevated angle without additional rigging. Multiple breakout areas, a kitchenette, toilets and shower are all within the studio — keeping the production self-contained throughout the day. Air conditioning runs throughout.
Suited to fashion campaigns, editorial shoots, content creation and commercial productions requiring a clean, flexible white space. Rate: £1,500 per day.
Studio 4 — Compact Infinity Cove with Facilities
Self-contained. No shared spaces. From £600 per day.
Studio 4 is a compact, self-contained infinity cove on the first floor of our Wimbledon facility. At 40ft × 16ft with an 11ft ceiling, it's designed for shoots that need a clean, seamless background without the overhead of a larger studio.
It comes with its own make-up room, kitchenette and production office — everything within a single hire, with no shared spaces or competing productions. Ideal for portrait sessions, beauty campaigns, product photography and smaller commercial shoots.
No drive-in access. First floor only. Rate: £600 per day.
