Five Studios. Every Capability. One Location in South West London.
From a compact self-contained cove to an 8,000 sq ft drive-in space — each studio is built for a different kind of work.
Malcolm Ryan Studios offers five dedicated studio spaces at Wimbledon Stadium Business Centre, SW17. Each studio has its own layout, dimensions and capability — ranging from Studio 4's self-contained infinity cove at £600 per day through to Studio A's 8,004 sq ft drive-in space with a 30-metre cove and 31ft ceiling height. Whether you're planning a product shoot, a fashion campaign, a green screen production or a full vehicle commercial, there is a studio configured for exactly that kind of work.
Studios Built Around Real Production Requirements
Drive-in access, professional power, overhead shooting and dedicated crew facilities — the details that matter on shoot day
Three of the five studios have drive-in access, allowing vehicles, large props and heavy equipment to be loaded directly onto the studio floor. Studio A and Studio 1 both feature U-shaped infinity coves with drive-in clearance — 17ft in Studio A, 14ft in Studios 1 and 2. For productions requiring vehicle photography or large set builds, this removes the logistics problems that often slow productions down before a single frame is shot.
Power capacity matters for larger productions. Studio A carries 3 x 400A supply plus 3-phase 63A sockets, supporting multiple high-output lighting rigs simultaneously. Ceiling height in Studio A reaches 31ft, with an overhead shooting platform at the same level — giving DOPs and photographers genuine elevation options without additional rigging.
Studio 2 is purpose-built for green screen work, with a pre-lit chroma key setup, motorised rigging and drive-in access. The lighting is pre-configured for consistent chroma results, reducing setup time and giving productions more of the day for actual shooting.
Across all studios, productions have access to make-up and wardrobe rooms, production offices, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, free parking and an 80-seat on-site restaurant.
The Right Studio for Every Type of Production
Fashion, automotive, green screen, editorial, ecommerce and large-scale commercial — matched to the right space
Fashion campaigns and product shoots suit studios with smooth infinity coves and controllable lighting setups. Studios 1, 3 and 4 each offer infinity coves at different scales — from Studio 4's compact self-contained space for focused portrait and product work, up to Studio 1's 50ft x 87ft floor with overhead shooting access from the mezzanine.
Automotive and vehicle productions need drive-in clearance, scale and power. Studio A is the flagship for this kind of work — 87ft wide, 92ft deep, 31ft high, with two remote-controlled floating ceilings for overhead lighting flexibility. Studio 1 provides a scaled-down version of the same capability for smaller vehicle or product work.
Film and commercial video productions benefit from Studio 2's pre-configured green screen environment, or from the larger spaces in Studios A and 1 where set builds and multi-camera setups can be accommodated properly.
Content creation, ecommerce and editorial shoots fit well in Studio 3 — a 60ft x 60ft L-shaped infinity cove with a lighting grid and balcony shooting position at 16ft.
All five studios sit within the same Wimbledon site, with shared facilities, free parking and easy access from Central London via the A3 or Wimbledon rail and tube connections.
